The annual J. F. Oberlin University Orchestra Summer Concert will be held on Monday, August 11, in Morino Hall Hashimoto. Admission will be free to all. Conducted by Professor Kunitada Matsuoka of the university’s College of Performing and Visual Arts, the orchestra will perform pieces including Beethoven’s “The Creatures of Prometheus,” “A Girl from Aurora Country” by Kunitada Matsuoka, “Emperor Waltz” by Johann Strauss, and an excerpt from Bizet’s “Carmen.”
