There will be an exhibition at 3331 Arts Chiyoda in downtown Tokyo from Friday, February 15, to Sunday, February 17, featuring the best works of 2018 from the Visual Arts program of J. F. Oberlin University’s College of Performing and Visual Arts.
Unlike at other universities, at J. F. Oberlin, students in the Visual Arts program learn about a wide range of media and then choose their favorites, creating works that have a deeper connection to them. The title of the exhibition is “Timeline,” and the pieces displayed will reflect the artists’ visions of the past, the present, and the future.
In addition, there will be a reception on Saturday, February 16, starting at 6:00 p.m., with a fashion show featuring music, 3D visuals, and clothes designed and made by students. The video embedded below gives an idea of what the fashion show will look like.
Time and date | Friday, February 15, to Sunday, February 17; 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on the 15th and 16th and 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 17th |
